MASTER D & XEFER'S "BHALO KORIYE"
MUSIC Video Direction

When our production house -BLVCKHOLE MEDIA-  decided to make its debut in the Bangladeshi music scene, I saw it as the perfect storm of creative challenge and cultural exploration. "Bhalo Koriye" was our gateway into a new market, featuring Master D (one half of the legendary Bilz and Kashif duo) and requiring the delicate balance of honoring 90s-2000s nostalgia while creating something distinctly contemporary.

The challenge was creating visual nostalgia that resonated across cultures. Pre-production involved deep dives into Y2K aesthetics, from color palettes that screamed millennium optimism to camera techniques that felt authentically period-appropriate.

Working with an artist who had already shaped an era's musical landscape added layers of complexity and opportunity. As First AD, I became the conduit between honoring Master D's artistic heritage and our production house's fresh perspective, ensuring every shot served both nostalgia and innovation.

"Bhalo Koriye" is proof that creative vision travels without passport stamps.
